Grapes: 100% Montepulciano
Soil composition: Medium mixture tending to be clayey. Microclimatic conditions varying from the foothills of the Majella mountain, to the sweet hills on the high side of the Adriatic Coast.
Altitude: 120-270 m. above sea level.
Exposure: East, North-East.
Cultivation system: Runner system and Abruzzo trellis.
Yield (hectolitres per hectar): 90
Harvesting period: First decade of October.
Vinification: Soft pressing, light skins cold maceration, fermentation at a controlled temperature: these are the three particular steps to extract the organoleptic qualities of this product.
Refinement: In stainless steel tanks.
Colour: Intense cherry rose.
Bouquet: Characteristic scent, with notes of mulberry, sour cherry and strawberry. Floral hints of rose and petunia.
Taste: Sapid, harmonic, fresh and fragrant. Clear to the palate.
Alcohol content: 12,0% Vol
Serving temperature: 10/12°C
Food pairing: Hors d'oeuvre, maccheroni, wonderful with brodetti - fish soups, white meat, cold cuts and half seasoned cheeses, it goes well with pizza and shellfish.
