Location of vineyards: Hills of the Province of Chieti
Grapes: 100% Trebbiano
Soil composition: Medium mixture tending to be calcareous-clayey in layers. Microclimatic conditions varying from the foothills of the Majella mountain, to the sweet hills on the high side of the Adriatic Coast.
Altitude: 130-350 m. above sea level.
Exposure: South, South-West.
Cultivation system: Runner system and Abruzzo trellis.
Yield (hectolitres per hectar): 95
Harvesting period: End of September and beginning of October.
Vinification: Light mashing and press cold maceration of hand picked grapes. Fermentation at a controlled temperature (from 16 to 20°C) up to the complete transformation of sugar into alcohol.
Refinement: In stainless steel tanks.
Colour: Light straw-yellow with greenish nuances.
Bouquet: Generous, pleasantly fruity, with hints of apple blending with floral notes of broom.
Taste: Harmonic, dry, delicate and long-lingering.
Alcohol content: 12,0% Vol
Serving temperature: 12/14°C
Food pairing: It goes well with all fish based courses, light dishes, white meat and cheeses. Excellent as an aperitif, it may be drunk anytime.
