Soil composition: Exclusive mixture soils with microclimatic conditions varying from the foothills of the Majella mountain, to the sweet hills on the high side of the Adriatic Coast. Calcareous-clayey soil in layers.
Altitude: 120-270 m. above sea level.
Exposure: South, South-East.
Cultivation system: Runner system and Abruzzo trellis.
Density of plants/ha: average density 3500
Yield (hectolitres per hectar): 65
Harvesting period: First and second ten-day period of October.
Vinification: Must obtained by gently crushing the grapes and keeping them in contact for a short period with the skins, then vinified with fermentation at a controlled temperature.
Refinement: In stainless steel tanks.
Colour: Intense cherry red, bright rosy.
Bouquet:Pleasantly fruity, notes of "cerasa" and strawberry.
Taste: Balanced, smooth, fresh and persistent.
Alcohol content: 12,5% Vol
Serving temperature: 10/12°C
Food pairing: Main courses and white meat, ideal with fish soups, half seasoned cheeses, goes well with pizza and tripe based dishes.
