Soil composition: Exclusive mixture soils with microclimatic conditions varying from the foothills of the Majella mountain, to the sweet hills on the high side of the Adriatic Coast. Calcareous-clayey soil in layers.

Exposure: South, South-East.
Cultivation system: Runner system and Abruzzo trellis.

Harvesting period: second and ten-day period of October.
Vinification: Hand picked grapes are traditionally vinified by means of a long maceration of skins at a controlled temperature. The must is racked off, pumped over and left to decant in stainless steel tanks at the end of the malolactic process.
Refinement: After the first period in stainless steel tanks, the refining process takes place chiefly in large casks and in barriques.
Colour: Intense ruby red with light violet-bluish nuances.
Bouquet: Complex and intense, with violet and mulberry that combine in exclusive spices and liquorice scents.

Alcohol content: 13,5 % vol.
