Location of vineyards:: Hills of the Province of Chieti
Grapes: Mont epulciano and Sangiovese in equal parts.
Soil composition: Pebbly terroirs, rich with micro-elements. Ideal soil and weather conditions, in the valleys and hills between the Adriatic sea and the Majella mountain.
Altitude: 130-400 m. above sea level.
Exposure: South, South-East.
Cultivation system: Abruzzo trellis.
Yield (hectolitres per hectar): 95
Harvesting period: First decade of October.

Vinification: After soft pressing, grapes macerate for 72 hours at about 28° C.
Refinement: Steel.
Colour: Intense ruby red with light violet nuances.
Bouquet: Vinous and fruity, with notes of mulberry, cherry and wild fruits.
Taste: Generous, round, full-bodied and velvety.
Alcohol content: 12,5 % vol.
Serving temperature: 18/20 C°
Food pairing: Main courses with rich sauces, red meat, game, salami and seasoned cheeses.
