Location of vineyards:: Hills of the Province of Chieti
Grapes: 100% Trebbiano
Soil composition: Medium mixture tending to be calcareous-clayey in layers. Microclimatic conditions varying from the foothills of the Majella mountain, to the sweet hills on the high side of the Adriatic Coast.
Altitude: 120-370 m. above sea level.
Exposure: South, South-West.
Cultivation system: Runner system and Abruzzo trellis.
Yield (hectolitres per hectar): 95
Harvesting period: September.
Vinification: Light pressing of hand picked grapes. The resulting must is then decanted in stainless steel tanks at a low temperature, then left to ferment at a controlled temperature.
Colour: Light straw-yellow with greenish nuances.
Bouquet: Fresh and pleasantly fruity, with hints of pear and apple, blending with floral notes of acacia and broom.
Taste: Harmonic, delicate and pleasantly fragrant.
Alcohol content: 12,0% Vol
Serving temperature: 12/14°C
Food pairing: It goes well with all fish based courses, light dishes, white meat and cheeses. Excellent as an aperitif, it may be drunk anytime. Ideal with Adriatic mussels and clams.
