Soil composition: Exclusive mixture of soils with microclimatic conditions varying from the foothills of the Majella mountain, to the sweet hills on the high side of Adriatic Coast. Calcareous-clayey soil in layers.
Altitude: 120-400 m. above sea level.
Exposure: South, South-West.
Cultivation system: Runner system and Abruzzo trellis.
Density of plants/ha: average density 3500
Yield (hectolitres per hectar): 70
Harvesting period: End of September and beginning of October.
Vinification: Hand picked grapes, soft pressing, cold maceration and fermentation of first-pressing must at a controlled temperature.
Refinement: In stainless steel tanks.
Colour: Light straw-yellow with greenish nuances.
Bouquet: Fragrant and pleasantly fruity (hints of peach and apple) with floral notes.
Taste:Fresh and harmonic, dry, round and long-lingering.
Alcohol content: 12,5% Vol
Serving temperature: 8/10°C
Food pairing: It goes well with all fish based courses, Abruzzo brodetto, it goes perfectly with white meat, delicate and half seasoned cheeses. Excellent as an aperitif.
