Grapes: 100% Sangiovese.
Soil composition: Medium pebbly mixture tending to be calcareous-clayey, in microclimatic conditions varying from the foothills of the Majella mountain, to the sweet hills on the high side of the Adriatic Coast.
Altitude: 120-320 m. above sea level.
Exposure: West, South-West.
Cultivation system: Runner system and Abruzzo trellis.

Harvesting period: First decade of October..
Vinification: Hand picked grapes are traditionally vinified in tanks at a controlled temperature and then subjected to short and frequent pumpingover for about 8-15 days.
Refinement: Steel.
Colour: Intense ruby red with violet nuances.
Bouquet: Intensely fruity, with perceptible hints of red berry fruit and drupacee. Spiced nuances of tobacco and pepper, intensified by maturity.
Taste: Full body, right tannic thread and persistence.
Alcohol content: 13,0 % vol.
Serving temperature: 16/18 C°
Food pairing: Pasta, red meat, game, cold cuts and seasoned cheeses.
